Access and Diversity

Access and Diversity Scholarship. Amount – Prorated based on semester hours. Donors – Dr. Anthony Wise. Criteria: Be Admitted to the College, File the Free Application for the Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), Submit a PSCC scholarship application, Have a minimum HiSET score of 10 , GED of at least 450 or a GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Additionally, you must meat at least one of the following criteria: Underrepresented minority student, low income student or and adult student 25 years or older.

Award: Amount of scholarship shall be determined as follows: Full time student (12 or more credit hours) $1000 per academic year, the amount to be divided equally between fall and spring semesters. Part time student (11 or fewer credit hours) – Prorated amount to be based on number of hours attempted each semester.

Award Stipulations: The scholarship will be awarded fall or spring semesters. Awards made fall semester will be renewed spring semester if the student meets the following criteria: Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPS, Completes 2/3 of attempted hours, participates in the mentoring and retention program through the Access and Diversity Office.

Up to $1000 per academic year.
